The corridors of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, came alive with music, laughter, and festive cheer as the Pre-primary wing celebrated Christmas with warmth and enthusiasm. The celebration blended joy with learning, creating a memorable experience for the young learners.
The school campus took on a festive look with colourful streamers, balloons, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree that stood at the heart of the celebrations. The children arrived dressed in red and white, many wearing Santa caps, adding charm to the cheerful setting. Their excitement was visible and infectious.

Music, dance, and a special visitor
The celebration began with a special assembly. The students performed lively dance routines to popular Christmas carols, filling the air with energy and smiles. A student dressed as Santa Claus made a grand entry and distributed candies among friends. The little Santa dancing with classmates became one of the most loved moments of the day.
The school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, graced the occasion and spent time with the children. He encouraged their performances and spoke to them about the meaning of Christmas. He shared that festivals help children learn values such as kindness, unity, and care for others. His interaction added depth and warmth to the celebration.

“We believe that festivals are the best classrooms for teaching humanity. Seeing our little ones embrace the values of unity and brotherhood reminds us of the innocence we must all cherish. May the spirit of Christmas ignite a spark of kindness in every heart. I wish all our families a season filled with peace, love, and togetherness,” Dr Vasisththa shared.
Learning through celebration
The celebration also carried a strong learning message. Teachers engaged students through stories and simple activities that highlighted compassion and sharing. The Sharing is Caring activity stood out, as children exchanged small tokens with one another, learning the joy of giving.
The day ended on a joyful note, leaving behind lessons of love, harmony, and cultural respect. The celebration ensured that the true spirit of Christmas stayed with the children long after the festivities concluded.
