JoSAA 2025: Round 2 seat allotment results today
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set to announce the results of Round 2 seat allotment for JoSAA Counselling 2025 today at 5 pm. Candidates who have participated in the counselling process for admission to top technical institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can check their allotment status by visiting the official website — josaa.nic.in.
Once the results are declared, candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must complete the online reporting process between June 25 and June 29 (by 5 pm). The process includes uploading required documents, paying the seat acceptance fee, and selecting one of the three willingness options — Freeze, Float, or Slide.
The three options provided during seat acceptance are:
- Freeze: Confirm the allotted seat and exit the counselling process.
Float: Accept the seat while remaining open to being upgraded to a better-preferred seat in the next rounds.
Slide: Accept the seat and stay open to shifting to a better-preferred course within the same institute.
Candidates must resolve any fee payment issues by June 30 (5 pm) and respond to document verification queries by July 1 (10 am).
To check the seat allotment result, candidates need to:
- Visit the official JoSAA portal.
Click on “View Seat Allotment Result – Round 2”.
Log in using JEE Main application number, password, and security pin.
View and download the allotment details.
To confirm admission, the seat acceptance fee must be paid online between June 25-29, 2025. Candidates are advised to download the payment receipt after successful completion.
