In the academic session 2024–25, three bright young minds from Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri have emerged as star performers, making their school and families proud. Now in Class 7, Hemang Garg, Pratyush Goyal and Bhavika reflect a perfect blend of discipline, curiosity, and ambition. Each of them not only excelled in studies but also showcased a keen interest in extracurricular activities and future goals.
Hemang Garg
Scoring a phenomenal 99% in his Class 6 final exams, Hemang Garg says he was pleasantly surprised when he saw his report card. “I was like, what? I have scored 99%! I didn’t expect it,” he recalls with a laugh. His friends shared in his joy, and his parents were filled with pride. Hemang scored a perfect 100 in Hindi and 99 or above in other subjects too.
His favourite subjects? “Social Studies and Science,” he says without hesitation. “I like learning about the past and the wonders of science.” Hemang’s fascination doesn’t stop there – he’s particularly drawn to space exploration. “I wonder every day – what’s it like in space? How many galaxies are there? Do aliens exist?” he says with a spark in his voice.
Apart from academics, Hemang is a budding artist and a fan of extracurriculars, especially sports and fine arts. Reflecting on his transition to Class 7, Hemang says, “I feel like I’m growing every day. From nursery to now, it’s been such a journey. My grandparents were so happy, they even gifted me a new dress and gave a bonus to the house staff!”
Pratyush Goyal
With a remarkable 96%, Pratyush Goyal has also secured his place among the top performers of his class.
Bhavika
Another shining star from Class 6, Bhavika scored an impressive 94.3%. Though she had expected a slightly higher score, she was delighted nonetheless. “My family was very happy. I think even my teachers were proud,” she says.
Bhavika’s favourite subjects are Maths and Science, both of which support her future dream of becoming a Data Scientist. “When I was in Class 1, I wanted to become a Scientist. Later, through research and Google Chrome, I learned about Data Scientists. It looked interesting and profitable, so I chose it,” she explains with clarity and confidence.
Outside the classroom, Bhavika enjoys football and badminton, and is excited to be part of an upcoming school special assembly where she will be hosting the event as a compere. About her new journey in Class 7, she says, “It’s been good so far. The teachers are very sweet and teach very well.”
