Swami Vivekananda, a visionary spiritual leader and youth icon, continues to inspire generations with his timeless wisdom and call to action. His ideals of self-awareness, empathy, and responsibility resonate deeply, encouraging individuals to strive for personal excellence while contributing to society.
To honor his legacy on National Youth Day, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park organised a series of thought-provoking activities for students of Classes III–VIII, blending his teachings with practical lessons in creativity, leadership, and community building. The event seamlessly integrated values such as self-awareness, empathy, and social responsibility while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
Students of Classes III to V delved into the timeless wisdom of Swami Vivekananda by writing quotations that inspire self-improvement and leadership development. Each student selected a quote, read it aloud in class, and shared its significance with peers, sparking thought-provoking discussions.

Classes VI and VII took their inspiration a step further by creating beautifully designed bookmarks. These bookmarks showcased Swami Vivekananda’s quotes that resonated personally with the students. The creative exercise allowed students to connect deeply with the values embodied by Swami Vivekananda while honing their artistic and reflective skills.
Class VIII students engaged in a thoughtful reflection on how the Awakened Citizen Program (ACP) has shaped them into more empathetic and responsible individuals. Writing about their personal journeys and sharing these experiences in small group discussions helped foster a sense of community and enhanced communication and interpersonal skills.

Through these activities, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, successfully instilled the values and teachings of Swami Vivekananda in its students. By emphasising self-awareness, empathy, and social responsibility, the school is nurturing a generation of informed, compassionate, and engaged citizens.
The National Youth Day celebrations were an inspiring success, leaving students motivated to embody Swami Vivekananda’s ideals in their daily lives.
