CLAT 2025 admission schedule released

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has released the complete admission calendar for CLAT 2025, outlining the schedule for counselling and seat allotment rounds. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024, for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs across various National Law Universities (NLUs).

The admissions process will consist of five allotment rounds. Registration for counselling opens on December 11, 2024, and remains available until December 20, 2024. Eligible candidates can register based on their scores and preferences.

Key Dates for CLAT 2025 Admissions:

  • First Allotment List: December 26, 2024
    • Confirmation fee payment for Freeze and Float options: December 26, 2024 – January 4, 2025
  • Second Allotment List: January 10, 2025
    • Confirmation fee payment: January 10–16, 2025
  • Third Allotment List: January 24, 2025
    • Confirmation fee payment: January 24–30, 2025
  • Fee Payment for Freeze Candidates (First–Third Lists): May 14, 2025

The fourth and fifth rounds of allotment will follow:

  • Fourth Allotment List: May 20, 2025
    • Confirmation fee payment: May 20–24, 2025
  • Fifth and Final Allotment List: May 29, 2025
    • Confirmation fee payment: May 29 – June 2, 2025
  • Final Fee Payment for Freeze Candidates (Fourth–Fifth Lists): June 10, 2025
