Read edited excerpts here.

What are you doing professionally?

I am pursuing my degree course in Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance (BAF) along with a Company Secretaryship (CS) which is a professional course that has three levels.

How were your days at Apeejay School?

My days at Apeejay School, Kharghar were filled with fun, new learning experiences, and the nurturing of creative ideas. The strong bond I shared with my friends made me look forward to going to school every day. Additionally, the teachers’ engaging way of explaining topics and chapters made the classes enjoyable and captivating.

How were the teachers?

From the very beginning, the teachers have been kind, supportive, and approachable. They understand each child’s unique personality and learning needs, tailoring their teaching methods accordingly. Their efforts ensure that every student comprehends the topics thoroughly, starting from the basics. This personalised approach helps in building a strong foundation for learning and growth.

Share any nostalgic memories from school.

My most cherished nostalgic memories will always be of sitting with my two friends on the last bench in the corner row, laughing and having fun. We would secretly eat from our tiffin during class without the teacher noticing, creating some of the best moments of our lives. When I look back, I don’t remember test performances or specific lessons but the sweet, comforting memories of our innocent selves. These moments now feel like a warm embrace from the past.

What are your dreams and aspirations?

My goal is to become a CS in a renowned and prestigious corporate organisation, where I will be responsible for managing and overseeing all the legal matters of the company.

What’s your advice to students of the school?

One important piece of advice for every student is to avoid stressing over academic performance. Instead, go with the flow of life. Overthinking can lead to mental clutter, so it’s crucial to find balance. Surround yourself with good friends who support you, celebrate your achievements, and are trustworthy. Balance your responsibilities — studies and socialising — and you’ll be on the right track!
