We opted for Apeejay for Aanya primarily because of our family’s longstanding connection with the institution. Aanya’s father and I are alumni, having completed our schooling from Apeejay, Mahavir Marg. When Aanya wasn’t thriving in her previous school, we made the timely decision to transfer her to Apeejay, where she immediately flourished.

Could you elaborate on your experience transitioning Aanya from another school to Apeejay?
Certainly. Initially, Aanya attended a different school for Lower KG, but she wasn’t content there. Despite being an outgoing child, she seemed to withdraw into herself, signalling that something wasn’t right. Recognising the importance of a positive learning environment, we decided to transfer her to Apeejay for Upper KG. The change was remarkable – she quickly regained her cheerful disposition, affirming that we had made the right choice.

What measures does Apeejay School take to ensure the safety and security of its students?

The campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activities and ensure a secure environment. Parents are kept informed and involved in safety initiatives, fostering a sense of trust and confidence in the school’s commitment to student well-being.

How did Apeejay School support Aanya’s academic and emotional development, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Apeejay School’s response during the pandemic was commendable. As both my husband and I work in the medical field, ensuring Aanya’s well-being and education during lockdowns was crucial. Fortunately, Apeejay’s robust online platform ensured uninterrupted learning for Aanya. The structured schedule, secure Zoom classes, and attentive teachers eased our concerns, allowing Aanya to continue her studies seamlessly while we fulfilled our professional duties.

Could you elaborate on Apeejay’s approach to extracurricular activities?
Apeejay offers a diverse range of extracurricular activities, from sports like basketball and table tennis to public speaking and arts. Aanya has thrived in this environment, participating in various activities like poetry competitions and recently, her first inter-house basketball match.

As a parent, how do you perceive Apeejay School’s role in shaping Aanya’s character and leadership qualities?

Through opportunities like serving as class monitor and delivering speeches at special assemblies, Aanya has honed her leadership skills and confidence.
