Tell us about your internship experience?
The overall experience is excellent. I get to learn how one gets new potential clients and I am learning turning my skills into closing deals, which in turn fetches my company more revenue. I am also learning how to deal with different people with different perspectives.
How is this internship in sync with your career aim?
My specialisation is in marketing and I want to make it into a big company in the future. This is the first opportunity to reach my target. I am learning more about what marketing is on the ground as well as familiarising myself with how to sell the product .
How has your time been at ASM?
Amazing! The faculty is just brilliant. They make us perform practical activities, like recently we had to make a product and sell it. My group made a bag out of used denim jeans and marketed that as part of the marketing assignment. We also have research papers to submit.
Top 3 things to keep in mind before selling a product?
1. Know your target market and audience
2. Know how feasible your product is
3. Have good communication skills with the client
What are your future targets?
I want to have a well-settled job in a renowned company. That is the plan as of now!
