‘The student-centred curriculum at Apeejay Model Town makes the learning process fun and interesting’

Mrs. Sakshi Aggarwal, mother of Apeejay Model Town student Abhiraj Aggarwal, highlights how the school gives the students a perfect atmosphere for growth and development

Mrs. Sakshi Aggarwal runs a play school and activity center named Funtree in Jalandhar. Her husband Mr Navin Aggarwal is the branch head at Sigma Health Insurance Company. Both their children are proud Apeejay students. Her son Abhiraj Aggarwal is a class 7 student at Apeejay School Model Town while her daughter Lavanya Aggarwal is an Apeejay College of Fine Arts student pursuing a vocational course in data sciences.  In a brief interview, Mrs. Aggarwal mentions how the student-centred curriculum at the school makes the education process very participative for all students. Edited excerpts:

 Why did you choose Apeejay Model Town for Abhiraj’s admission?

The school curriculum is the reason behind choosing Apeejay School, Model Town. The school has a totally child-centred curriculum. As a result, the students enjoy a lot while studying and that is the most important thing.

Please tell us a bit about Abhiraj and take us through his progress at school?

Abhiraj is a master in Computers and Sciences. He loves technical things a lot. He is highly interested in coding-related activities. He is also a good orator and a brilliant stage performer. He hosts all the events at the school from the annual day to the special assemblies. Also, he enjoys Math a lot.  Abhiraj is a very cheerful boy. He is mischievous in a good way. He is a very loving, caring and a responsible boy with good time management skills.  

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

Absolutely. They are all very good. I would like to thank all the teachers in the school. I am totally satisfied with them as a parent.

What is the best thing about Apeejay Model Town?

I think the best thing about the school is the child-centred curriculum, as I had mentioned before. It makes the process of education very enjoyable for a child.

How has the experience of the online classes been for Abhiraj?

We had a very good experience in the online classes. It was really very well-managed. All the events, activities, homework, assignments were conducted very efficiently. The school managed the online classes in a great way.

Now that the school has reopened, is Abhiraj happy to be back at school?

Yes. He is very happy to be back at school. He is excited to go to the school every day after two years.
