Recently, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, hosted a Virtual Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for students from Pre-nursery to Class VIII. The interactive online session brought together parents and teachers on a common digital platform, allowing for meaningful discussions about students’ academic performance, strengths, and areas that require further focus.
Bridging school and home
The meeting aimed to bridge the gap between school and home, ensuring that both parents and teachers work together for the holistic development of children. Despite being conducted virtually, the PTM retained the warmth and involvement of in-person interactions, with participants sharing constructive feedback and ideas for improvement.
During the meeting, parents received detailed insights into their ward’s academic progress as well as co-curricular participation. Teachers appreciated students’ dedication and highlighted achievements while also suggesting strategies to overcome challenges. Parents, on their part, shared their observations from home and expressed gratitude to the teachers for their continuous efforts in nurturing young learners.

Building trust and partnership
The Virtual PTM also provided an opportunity for parents to better understand the school’s teaching methodologies, evaluation systems, and upcoming academic plans. Such interactions not only help in identifying and addressing students’ needs early on but also encourage a sense of trust and partnership between the school and families.
The success of the Virtual PTM reaffirmed Apeejay School, Tanda Road’s commitment to nurturing students in a supportive and collaborative environment. With active participation from both sides, the PTM concluded on a positive and motivating note, further strengthening the school-home bond.
