Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar showcased its creative prowess at the Media Fest 2025, organised by Khalsa College, Amritsar. The event featured a diverse range of competitions, including RJ, Ad Mad Show, Dance, Poetry, Reel Making, and Short Movie, etc. The students of ACFA emerged as top performers, securing top positions in various events.
In Photography, Samita from BFA bagged the1st position while Babit, Aryaman, Samita, and Moksh clinched the 1st position for yet another competition Ad Mad Show.Students from P.G. Department of Multimedia, Kunal, Harmeet Singh, Harnoor Singh, Manitraj & Kushal bagged 2nd position for their short movie.Whereas Jahnavi Aggarwal from BJMC 2nd semester secured 2nd position in Radio Jockeying. Aditya from B.Voc (Sound Technology) was placed in the 3rd position for Reel Making.Students demonstrated exceptional talent and creativity, impressing the judges with their innovative ideas and skills. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic abilities, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.Lastly, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA, congratulated the students for their success and encouraged them to showcase their talent in the other competitions as well. Citing the importance of participation in such competitions, Dr. Dhingra emphasised, “Practical exposure which provides students the required platform and boosts their confidence and creativity is necessary.”She also acknowledged the guidance and support provided to students by Mr. Mohit Rubel and Ms. Ritu Sohal of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
