Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, reverberated with laughter and joy as it hosted a vibrant celebration of Mother’s Day. Guided by the wise leadership of Principal Mr AK Sharma and Vice-principal Ms Aarti Shorey Bhat, the school community united to acknowledge and celebrate the irreplaceable role of mothers in shaping society.

The festivities were honoured by the presence of Mrs Praveen Abrol, a renowned writer, social worker, and the Founder-President of Divya Drishti NGO. During her keynote speech, Mrs Abrol highlighted the value of spending quality time over materialistic gifts in fostering strong child-parent bonds. Her insightful remarks resonated with everyone, reinforcing the day’s theme of genuine appreciation and familial connections.

As various competitions commenced, the school was alive with excitement. Events like ‘Selfie with Mom,’ ‘Rangoli,’ ‘Greeting Card Making,’ ‘Fire on Stage (Dance),’ ‘Photo Frame Designing,’ and ‘Modeling’ drew enthusiastic participation from over a hundred mothers alongside their children. These activities provided a platform for mothers to showcase their creativity and enjoy a break from daily duties, enhancing their well-being and personal growth.

Principal Mr Sharma offered his heartfelt wishes to all mothers, acknowledging their vital role in nurturing future leaders. Vice-principal Ms Bhat expressed gratitude to the mothers and Mrs Abrol for making the event profoundly successful.
