A day of excitement and discovery awaited the students of Classes III to V from Apeejay School, Noida, as they set out on an educational excursion to Vishalgarh Farms. The visit was designed to extend learning beyond books, helping children connect with nature and understand the value of experiential education.
Accompanied by their teachers, ancillary staff and a team of professional instructors, the students embarked on the journey with great enthusiasm. The vibrant setting of Vishalgarh Farms offered an engaging space where they could explore, play, and learn through real-world experiences.
Adventure, Fun and Teamwork
The day began with thrilling activities such as camel rides, bumper cars, toy trains, and a zip line that had students cheering with excitement. Adventure games like the commando net and burma bridge tested their balance and endurance, while also nurturing qualities of courage, teamwork and perseverance.
A visit to the haunted house added a playful twist to the day, filling the air with laughter and friendly screams. Meanwhile, the puppet show and magic show offered glimpses into India’s traditional art forms, showcasing creativity, humour and cultural storytelling.
Learning from Rural Life
The excursion also served as a window into India’s rural landscape. Students got an opportunity to observe farm life, appreciate simplicity and learn about agricultural practices. The cultural performances and outdoor games allowed them to witness the richness of Indian traditions — a lesson in diversity and appreciation for heritage.
Teachers guided reflective discussions with the students, encouraging them to notice how teamwork, cooperation and respect for nature are central to both rural living and personal growth.
A Day Full of Memories and Lessons
With every detail carefully planned, the trip ensured both safety and enjoyment for all. Healthy snacks, breakfast and lunch were served, keeping the young explorers energised throughout.
By the end of the day, students returned rejuvenated — carrying back memories of laughter, learning and friendship. The excursion proved that learning doesn’t always happen within four walls; sometimes, it thrives under the open sky, surrounded by nature, adventure and joy.
