
Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, celebrated a significant milestone in its academic calendar with the Investiture Ceremony held recently. A testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership, the event marked the formal installation of the Prefectural Board for the academic session 2025-26. With the motto of service, responsibility, and excellence, the day was a vibrant celebration of young leadership taking center stage.
Graced by the presence of parents, students, and faculty, the ceremony began with a dignified march past by the newly elected leaders of all four houses—Gautam, Kabir, Nanak, and Vivekananda. The synchronised steps of the marching contingents reflected discipline, unity, and readiness to shoulder new responsibilities. The school grounds buzzed with pride and admiration as the student leaders confidently took their positions on stage.
The Prefectural Board was then formally introduced to the audience:
Leading Gautam House are Aarav Munjal (Captain), Harshita (Vice-Captain), and Prefects Devesh and Isha.
Kabir House will be led by Captain Abhishek, Vice-Captain Ranvijay Sangwan, and Prefects Hiral and Nidhi.
Nanak House announced Aastha as Captain, Himani as Vice-Captain, and Sunidhi Goyal and Sanvi Sangwan as Prefects.
Vivekananda House is headed by Vanshu (Captain), Livanshi (Vice-Captain), and Prefects Atharva Gupta and Dia Mittal.
In addition to house leadership, the prestigious posts of Head Girl and Head Boy were conferred upon Kashish and Deepanshu Jatrana, respectively. The highlight of the ceremony was the solemn oath-taking ceremony, where the newly elected student council pledged their allegiance to the school and vowed to discharge their duties with dedication, integrity, and courage.
Addressing the gathering, the School Principal, Mr Vineet Vasishtha congratulated the Prefectural Board and urged them to lead by example. He emphasised the importance of servant leadership and inspired the students to be compassionate change-makers. The House Masters and Mistresses also shared their heartfelt wishes, expressing faith in the abilities of the young leaders.
He further added, “I am immensely proud of our newly elected Prefectorial Board. Leadership is a journey of responsibility, commitment, and service. I congratulate all the young leaders and urge them to be role models, upholding the values of Apeejay School in all their actions. May you lead with humility and purpose, inspiring others through your conduct. My gratitude to the parents for their constant support and presence on this special occasion. Together, we nurture the leaders of tomorrow. The presence of proud parents added warmth and significance to the occasion, underscoring the strong bond between the school and families in building responsible citizens.”
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of unity, pride, and hope for a brighter future.
