Recently, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, ignited with energy, innovation, and inquiry, hosting a Science and Mathematics Exhibition that centred student creativity. With colourful displays, interactive models, and confident explanations, the event gave students a platform to showcase not just what they’ve learnt but also how they think.

The exhibition opened with a warm welcome from Principal Mr AK Sharma, who inaugurated the event and spent time engaging with the students and their exhibits. Accompanied by the Vice-principal, Ms Loveleen Bagga, he observed the projects on display, many of which reflected a hands-on understanding of complex concepts in science and mathematics.

Models that spoke volumes

Each exhibit, ranging from circuits and chemical reactions to everyday geometry and mathematical puzzles, showcased thoughtful design and presentation. Students from various classes participated, confidently explaining the logic and science behind their models. Their clarity, curiosity, and confidence were evident. Visitors could see that these young minds were not simply following textbooks but truly exploring the ideas within them.

The exhibition drew a strong turnout from parents, who showed genuine interest in the models and conversations. Many paused to ask questions, take photos, and speak with the students about their work. The engagement between learners and parents added to the atmosphere of encouragement and pride.

Learning by doing

In his address, the Principal emphasised the importance of experiential learning. He noted that such exhibitions go beyond syllabus goals. They help students learn how to think, not just what to think. He applauded the teamwork, preparation, and innovative spirit on display. Vice-principal Ms Loveleen Bagga also commended the students and teachers for their effort in turning ideas into reality.

What this means is that learning at Apeejay School isn’t just about marks or exams. It’s about asking questions, exploring possibilities, and learning to solve real-world problems with confidence.

The Science and Math Exhibition wasn’t just a school event. It was a celebration of imagination, intellect, and interaction. Everyone walked away, students, teachers, and visitors, with a renewed appreciation for the role of curiosity in education. In every sense, it was a day well spent and well-remembered.
