Women’s galore at Apeejay Mahavir Marg!

Women’s Day is a day not just for women but for all. Confusing right? But hear me out! This day is definitely a tribute to the life giving feminine spirit and her endless unrecognised sacrifices but it is also a day for men to recognise the importance of women and think of changes to make the world a safer, better place for the opposite gender.  

Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar school imparts this very wisdom in all their students since the primary classes. The school recently celebrated International Women’s Day and it was a resounding success, fostering a sense of appreciation, empowerment and joy among all participants. 

The function served as a poignant reminder of the invaluable contributions of women to society and the importance of unity in advancing gender equality. The day was celebrated to mark the valor and ‘heart-work’ of all the women.

The event was a true testament to the strength, resilience and achievements of women worldwide and a special mention was given to the leaders and visionaries like Smt. Rajeswari Paul, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia  and Dr. Neha Berlia.

From inspiring speeches to mesmerising performances, students paid homage to the phenomenal role women play throughout their lives. Special highlights of the day included a moving video tribute, soul stirring poetry recitations, melodious song performances, engaging games and a movie screening. 

Under the aegis of Principal, Ms Sangeeta Nistandra, the school marked the importance of women through this heartious special assembly. The school reiterates the message that every girl is special and plays a key role in making this world a paradise.
