Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, hosted a handwriting competition in English recently, with a unique focus on inspiring students from Classes I to VIII. This event not only emphasised the importance of good handwriting but also encouraged students to draw inspiration from the remarkable lives of two influential figures from the Apeejay School family: The revered Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group and Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education.
The competition aimed to nurture both the skill of handwriting and an appreciation for the life stories of these visionaries. For students in Classes I to V, the task was to write about Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia’s life and achievements. Her journey of excellence in education, her dedication to social causes, and her leadership qualities resonated deeply with the young learners. The students expressed their admiration through neat, heartfelt writing, highlighting Madam Berlia’s compassion and leadership.

Meanwhile, students from Classes VI to VIII were tasked with writing about Dr Stya Paul, a visionary known for his human values, tireless commitment to education, and substantial contributions to both education and industry. The older students showcased their understanding of Dr Stya Paul’s values of integrity, perseverance, and vision, crafting well-structured passages that reflected his legacy.
The competition was conducted in a classroom setting, allowing participants to concentrate fully on their task for 40 minutes. The atmosphere was filled with discipline and focus, as students gave their best effort to produce high-quality work. Teachers played a vital role in guiding and motivating the children, ensuring the smooth execution of the event.

Once the submissions were evaluated, the winners were announced, receiving certificates and tokens of appreciation for their impressive handwriting and insightful content.
