
Ganesha is the Lord of everything auspicious in the world. After his worship, only can one worship another deity. His worship signifies the smooth beginning of any task or project. He removes all obstacles and blesses the devotee with knowledge and wisdom.
Marking the birth of Lord Ganesha, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a lot of enthusiasm and devotion. The festival began with the installation of a bright , colourful new idol of Lord Ganesha in the school building. The worship of the deity began after Principal sir paid his homage to the Lord. Ganesha was welcomed with sincere prayers and soulful invocations, which was followed by arti and prasad distribution among those present.
The school also conducted a special assembly to celebrate Lord Ganesha’s arrival. The deity was welcomed again in the assembly with harmonious bhajans, informative speeches, beautiful poems and dances.
Speaking at the event, teacher in charge Mr. Sanjeev Mishra said, “Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh ji is the deity of peace, prosperity and happiness. He inspires students to study sincerely and acquire education with grace.”
Mr. Rudrendra Basak, Principal of the school made the students aware about the significance of the festival in his assdress. He mentioned, “The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is known as the harbinger of prosperity and good fortune since Lord Ganesha is considered the God of new beginnings and good luck.”
He further wished the students the best of luck and prayed to Lord Ganesha to create goodness around all students and enhance their happiness.
