Tiny tots celebrate their first milestone at the graduation ceremony

Elementary school is one of the golden periods of learning in  a child’s educational journey. This is the time when young kids develop values and habits which further helps in building their career. This is when kids learn about self-confidence, motivation, and develop the will to always give their best. In addition, it blesses them with friends, who support, help and guide each other throughout the journey.

School days really are the best days of a students life, all the fun and laughter that students have during primary class becomes a wonderful memory that they cherish for lifetime. But as it is said time waits for none and life goes on. So, it’s the time for them to move on to the next stage of their journey.

To mark the culmination of the preschool years, and to celebrate the first milestone in the life of the tiny tots of UKG class, Apeejay School, Tanda Road recently organised the graduation ceremony for the Kindergarten students.

The programme began with a welcome dance by the students of Nursery class, which was followed by the speech of the graduating kids. They spoke about their learnings during the course of the year and also performed a dance for the cheerful audience.

Further, the memories captured throughout their preschool years were screened on the stage. The students with their smiling faces received their certification of merit from Mrs. Sangeeta Nistandra, Principal of Apeejay School, Tanda Road and Ms. Deepti Kaushal, Coordinator at Apeejay School, Tanda Road.

While expressing her views, Ms Nistandra highlighted the quote of Roald Dahl – “If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely” and further said, “The twits and the sunny disposition on the faces of the young Apeejayites bear a testimony to the saying.”

A UKG student Agaaz Kaur Waid’s mother said, “A farewell is an expression of good wishes to children, who are opening another chapter of their lives. Farewell to UKG kids gave an impact of never forgotten memories, as they step into a new realm of life. It’s also a commemoration to celebrate all the good times together and wishing the best for their future.”

She further added, “On this day, students shared their experience and even danced and thanked all the teachers who made them learn, play, and teach different activities. Being a mother, I experienced that the whole staff made my child responsible, caring, independent, and thoughtful. I would like to thank Apeejay School, Tanda Road Coordinator, Class teacher and staff. Their hard work is a treasure for our students, parents and community.”

Sharing a similar sentiment, Ms Sarita, mother of Shivanya, a student of Kg class, expressed her gratitude to the school and said, “The graduation ceremony was quite fun and all parents and students enjoyed it a lot. It was the first time for my child to experience such a ceremony. We got to know that we as parents will have more responsibilities in future. It’s going to be a great memory for me and my daughter. I would like to say thanks to the Apeejay.”

The fun-filled ceremony ended on a cheerful note with big smiles on the faces of the young graduates.
