On the morning of September 28, 2024, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld in Jalandhar was a buzz with eagerness and intellectual fervour. The school had its most eagerly-awaited event: Quiz Mania-Knowledge Knights, where young minds got engaged in the most gripping contest of wits and wisdom.

This competition featured six feisty teams: Brainstormers, Explorers, Brainiacs, Mavericks, Quizsters, and Whizkids. Each team was strong enough to elaborate their knowledge through four rounds of testing: Direct Questions, Audio, Visual, and the fast-paced Tap Round. So hot was the competition that each of the teams showcased prominent intellectual prowess and quick thinking.

Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University and Chairman Apeejay Education has always encouraged inculcating general knowledge in young minds. This was evident at every step of the competition while the children revelled at the idea of scoring well in every regard, doing justice to the appreciation they received here.

Speaking about the importance of organising such events, Ms Dilroop Kaur, PPRT at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, said that organising Knowledge Knights (Quiz Mania) for toddlers can be quite beneficial, even in a playful format. “Quizzes help improve memory, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and language skills. It can be a fun learning exercise as well. It also helps in social interaction and boosts confidence. Interactive quizzes make learning dynamic and enhance a child’s educational experience,” the educator explained.

The event provided an ideal platform for students to supplement their general knowledge and promoted and fostered healthy competition and camaraderie among them. Without any doubt, Quiz Mania-Knowledge Knights epitomised holistic education.

Talking about how this event contributed to the overall development of her son, Shreyansh Suri of UKG A, Ms Kanav Suri shared: “After watching Shreyansh performing so well in Quiz Mania we, as parents, would love to see him perform in more such activities. It encourages a child to learn and do better in school. Such activities that are performed outside the classroom build confidence in kids in a fun way. Thanks to Apeejay Rhythms for such a great activity,” the mother opined.

Medals to the winners and certificates to all participants who have successfully come along with dedication and hard work ushered in the conclusion of the event. Mrs Priyanka Grover, Officiating Principal of Apeejay School Model Town congratulated the students and commended the team behind the successful orchestration of the event.

Present on the occasion was the School Head, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Ms Nidhi Ghai, along with the faculty of the school, who did not miss the opportunity to share the joy and pride that the students’ respective achievements created.
