Adding one more feather to his list of achievements, Raghav Kapoor, an MBA student at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), recently bagged the Hindustan Ratna Award 2022 for the youngest accomplished artist in classical music. The 23-year-old has five original songs, Yaar Ja Sharaab, Habibi, Zindagi Tere Naam, Tu ranjha, and Ik Tera Chehra launched to his name.
The young artist has been training in classical music for the last 16 years from the renowned Shyam Chaurasia Gharana. Due to the efforts of his late Guru Shri Ravi Sharma ji, the talented singer delivered his first on-stage performance in grade 3 at DD National.
Since that time there has been no looking back. Today, Raghav has a YouTube channel called Million Entertainers to his name, which has 1.2K subscribers. The talented singer has worked with eminent music pioneers such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Kailash Kher, to name a few.
Marking many achievements and winning prestigious awards such as Bollywood Iconic Award 2022, 8th Global Achievers Award 2022, he also won the special Hindustan Ratna Award. Due to his outstanding achievements, he was also invited as the Chief Guest at Glam India Pune 2022 event.
On winning various awards, Raghav said, “It’s just a beginning for me. I have really big goals and want to achieve a lot in my life. I take these events as a platform to showcase my talent to a large audience.”
