School can feel like a second home for a child because it provides a nurturing environment where they spend a significant portion of their day. “At this school, children develop strong bonds with teachers and peers who play a role similar to that of family members. Teachers here provide guidance, encouragement, and care, much like parents do, while friends offer companionship and emotional support,” shares Hema Mishra whose daughter Krishna studies in class VIII at Apeejay School, Kharghar.
Read on to know how engaging in extracurricular activities like sports, arts, and clubs here allows children to explore their interests and talents.
Why did you choose Apeejay for admission?
When we returned from London seven years back, Krishna was already five years old and no school had vacancies as the admission process was over everywhere. Back then Apeejay was going to conduct its admission entrance exam in June. She got a chance to write the exam and got selected. She was already attracted to the school by then as she would often point towards the building and call – this is my school while crossing the road.
How are the teachers here?
The teachers at Apeejay are very cooperative and friendly. They are a perfect blend of discipline and professionalism and at the same time very helpful and considerate to the child’s needs.

Which extracurricular activities does your daughter enjoy at school?
She loves Awakened Citizen Program sessions. It is more interactive and at the same time accelerates values within her. She is also fond of all the art activities that happen in school from decorating boards to mehendi classes that fulfil her thirst for creativity.
Do you feel Apeejay is like a second home for your daughter?
Apeejay is like a second home for Krishna. At school, she is equally cared for and feels secure. The atmosphere is appropriately holistic for her overall growth and development.
How are the school facilities and infrastructure?
The school is well-equipped with all the facilities. Recent additions to the infrastructure and CCTV cameras are appreciated.
