‘This school boosted my son’s confidence manifold’
The mother of a student at Apeejay School, Model Town, says that teachers here are instrumental in creating a positive and fruitful environment for students
Just like a home, school provides a structured environment with routines that help children feel stable and secure. This structure helps them develop discipline and time-management skills, which are crucial for their overall development. “Apeejay provides a haven where children are cared for and protected. This sense of security is fundamental for their emotional and psychological well-being. Teachers and staff act as guardians, ensuring that children are safe from harm and that their needs are met,” shares Ms Gurminder Kaur whose son Guransh studies in class VIII at Apeejay School, Model Town.

How has your son’s journey been so far at school?
First and foremost, Apeejay has the best environment for children. The conditions are so conducive that the child feels happy and safe here. The school staff have gone out of their way to make my child adjust well and encourage his learning and growth. Guransh was always an introverted child but after spending time at this school, he has started to interact more with people and has become more outgoing.
How are the teachers here?
They are all super supportive in all ways. During PTMs, they patiently listen to all our concerns and they are all well-trained trained have vast knowledge to teach students.
Which extracurricular activities does your son enjoy at school?
Guransh is a trained bhangra dancer and has participated in several competitions at the inter-school level where he has won many accolades. He also enjoys playing badminton in sports. I have noticed that the school is particular in encouraging students to pursue more extracurricular activities for which they deserve all the credit.
Do you think that school is the second home for a child?
Teachers are indeed instrumental in creating a positive and fruitful environment for students. Apart from studies, the school teaches etiquette, moral values, and important virtues of life to its students which goes a long way in life’s journey.
How are the school infrastructure and facilities?
I am happy to know that the school is being extended till class XII now since it has been up to class VIII so far. Also, the school building is undergoing renovation to build a more state-of-the-art structure. This institute is evolving with advancements in technology.
