One of the key factors that stood out for this parent while selecting a kindergarten for her son was the presence of a separate, dedicated campus for toddlers. This thoughtful setup gave her confidence in the school’s approach to early childhood care. The added convenience of its location, close to their home, made the choice easier. Meet Riddhi Nim, whose son, Rudra, is at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK II.
In a candid interview, she talks about how the school is nurturing her son’s curiosity and creativity.
What are the social or emotional changes in your son since he joined the kindergarten?
Initially, he was quite cranky and had stranger anxiety. But now he’s become more confident and knows how to socialise. He’s no longer afraid of crowds and has learnt to be comfortable around people, which I believe is due to the school environment.
What activities does Rudra enjoy the most at school?
He enjoys physical activities like playing with the ball and blocks, and he especially looks forward to storytelling sessions.
How would you describe the teaching approach and the teacher-student interaction?
The teachers provide one-on-one attention, and storytelling is used as a method to engage the children in learning. Rudra remembers lessons clearly, like counting, because of this engaging approach.
How is the school nurturing his creativity and curiosity?
Earlier, he didn’t show much interest in doing activities at home. But now he colours, recites poems, and counts on his own. The school has helped bring out a creative side we hadn’t noticed before and has made him more comfortable approaching teachers and participating in activities.

What do you like most about the school’s atmosphere and facilities?
I feel completely at ease leaving him there. The atmosphere is very safe and comfortable, and the love and care the teachers provide is truly commendable.
How does the school balance play-based learning with structured academics?
The school blends both beautifully. Through playful activities like block work and colour games, they teach structured concepts like shapes and sizes in a fun and effective way.
How has the school supported you as a parent in Rudra’s learning journey?
As a working mother, I can’t always devote him as much time. Since joining school, he has become more independent, and that has eased my worries. He’s developed his own personality and learnt to manage himself, which has been a huge support for both him and me.
