At Apeejay School, Saket, excellence is more than a goal – it’s a habit nurtured through discipline, motivation, and a love for learning. The academic session 2024-25 saw some remarkable young achievers rise to the top with outstanding performances in Class 7B. As they stepped into Class 8, we caught up with three brilliant students – Hridyaansh Gupta, Rayan Ahmad, and Vihan Pandey – to know more about their journey, achievements, and aspirations.
Hridyaansh Gupta: A Love for Logic and Leadership
Performing in his class with an impressive 98.1%, Hridyaansh Gupta believes in the power of consistency and curiosity. “I feel absolutely thrilled and grateful,” he said, reflecting on his result. “It’s the result of constant hard work, discipline, and the ability to manage my time well.”
Now in Class 8, Hridyaansh is already enjoying an engaging start. “Our teachers have made the first week exciting with fun activities. In Maths, we used a calendar and dice to understand concepts better.” His favourite subject? “Definitely Maths! Every problem feels like a puzzle,” he shared, proudly mentioning his perfect 100 in Maths and Sanskrit.
Beyond academics, Hridyaansh is a natural leader. As a former class representative, he developed strong organisational skills. “I participated in Olympiads and represented the Interact Club and Dramatics team at the zonal level,” he added.
Rayan Ahmad: From Realisation to Result
For Rayan Ahmad, scoring 93.8% was more than just numbers – it was a personal victory. “I saw a big improvement from Class 6. I realised the importance of focus, participation and time management,” he said.
Rayan’s academic transformation was powered by self-discipline. “When it’s time to study, avoid distractions. I even disconnected from chats and focused completely.” His top subjects – Mathematics, Science, and History – are all about understanding and application. “Maths isn’t about memorising; it’s about regular practice. Solving exemplars helped me feel confident during exams.”
An enthusiastic participant in school events, Rayan remains grateful to his teachers. “They supported me at every step, even during tough phases. Their balance of fun and discipline made a big difference.”
Vihan Pandey: Aiming Higher with Every Step
Scoring 93.2%, Vihan Pandey walked into Class 8 with renewed excitement. “I’m happy to be the class representative again. It feels good to have the opportunity to lead.”
While he exceeded his own expectations in Class 7, he’s now setting higher goals. “My favourite subjects are Maths and Science. They are full of theory and interesting concepts,” he said. Vihan was candid about his scores – Maths was a challenge, but he’s determined to improve. His highest was Social Science, where “learning the key points really helped.”
Outside the classroom, Vihan finds joy in football and music, balancing academics with creativity and physical activity.
These young achievers prove that success isn’t accidental – it’s built with perseverance, guidance, and the courage to aim higher.
