Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D, Faridabad, recently held its inaugural Scholar Badge Ceremony, celebrating students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, discipline, and dedication. Among the awardees was Anshika Bhattacharya, a Class 12th Medical student, who shared her journey of hard work, motivation, and dreams for the future. Here’s a glimpse into her inspiring story.

Congratulations on receiving the Scholar Badge, Anshika! How did you feel when you heard the news?

Thank you! I was honestly so excited and proud. Initially, I wasn’t confident I’d get it, especially with the challenging syllabus in Class 11. But I pushed through, studied hard, and it was incredibly rewarding to receive the badge in Class 12. It made all the effort worthwhile!

You’ve been a part of Apeejay for 14 years. How has the school supported you on this journey?

Yes, I’ve been here since kindergarten, and the school has shaped me in so many ways. The teachers are always there for us, whether we need academic help or just a little motivation. They’ve been like family, guiding me at every step and encouraging me to keep going, even when things get tough.

What are your future goals?

My dream is to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor. I’m currently preparing for NEET, but I’m also open to exploring fields like psychology or forensics later. I think it’s important to have a few options and keep learning new things.

Do you have any advice for younger students aiming for the Scholar Badge?

Definitely! Believe in yourself and put in the hard work. The effort you put in today will pay off tomorrow. I kept reminding myself that there’s always a better tomorrow, and it kept me motivated.

Apart from studies, what other interests do you pursue?

I’ve completed a six-year course in Kathak dance, and I’m also doing a diploma in French. I enjoy learning different things, and these activities help me relax and keep a balanced life. For de-stressing, I also spend time with friends, watch movies, and listen to music.

How has the school supported you with NEET preparation?

The school has been a huge help. They’ve covered the syllabus for both Class 11 and 12, and anytime I have doubts, the teachers are there to clarify. This support has made a big difference in my preparation.
