‘The staff at this school is extremely supportive’

Choosing the right school for a child is a decision that must resonate with their long-term impact and overall development. Teachers are present everywhere but in an institute where the teacher understands that education is not something that is a one-size-fits-all concept, it must be curated to meet the unique and individual needs of every student, is unique indeed.

Excerpts from the interview:

What made you choose this school?

We chose this school because it enjoys a stellar reputation in our city. Its convenient location in the city centre aligns with our residence. Moreover, my husband is an alumnus of this school which is why it holds personal significance for us.

In your opinion, what sets this school apart from other schools?

The old staff of the school makes it an exceptional institute. The teachers here are highly experienced and offer great exposure to learning. 

How has been his experience at school so far?

Super good! He is very happy attending school. The teachers are very friendly. Even his friend circle is very nice.

Is your son involved in any extracurricular activities?

While he may be a bit reserved with extracurricular activities, he has recently joined a football academy after school. Although his participation in school activities like the Olympiad is currently developing, which is a noticeable progress. 

What are your thoughts on the school’s facilities and resources provided to the students?

The school is diligently providing facilities at a well-maintained standard, striking the right balance between discipline and necessary strictness.

Since we live in a materialistic society where students delve more into gadgets. How do you ask your son to refrain from the same?

Everything should be done within the limit. This requires a lot of parenting. The child does what his/her parents do. If the parents are busy on their gadgets, the child will do the same. You can’t expect any different. It all started from COVID-19 but it’s up to the parents now how to manage things now. I am a little strict with my son. My child has a fixed schedule to make use of gadgets which is only in the evening and not at night.
