From academics and sports to leadership, Apeejay International School, Greater Noida supports every step of student’s journey
Apeejay International School, Greater Noida has been a guiding light for Geetanshu Gupta, a promising Class 11 student with a keen interest in sports and a passion for engineering. His mother shared her experience of their journey with the school so far – from academics and sports to career guidance and the school’s constant support. Here’s what she said in a recent telephonic interview.
How has your experience been with the school?
It has been wonderful. Geetanshu joined Apeejay in Class 9, and the journey since then has been very smooth. We were quite anxious initially as he joined mid-session, but Principal Ma’am supported us at every step. She conducted his entrance tests, guided us with the CBSE registration, and ensured the admission process was seamless.
How has the academic support been for Geetanshu?
Academically, the school is excellent. His Class 10 results were good, and now he has taken the PCM stream in Class 11. The school provides the right academic environment and he is beginning his preparation for engineering and JEE with full focus.
What about extracurricular involvement – has the school encouraged it?
Absolutely. Geetanshu has always been inclined towards sports. He has participated in football, basketball, and athletics. Even when he joined mid-session and had limited chances in Class 10 due to board prep, the school still provided opportunities. Now in Class 11, we’re encouraging him to make the most of it before Class 12 begins.
How does the school help in overall personality development and leadership?
The school encourages students to take initiative. Geetanshu is outspoken and aspires to become the Head Boy. He regularly speaks to the Principal about his goals. She is approachable and always guides him. The leadership opportunities here truly shape students.
Did you find the school’s career counselling useful?
Yes, very much. The orientation held by the school to help students choose their subjects was detailed and helpful. My husband attended it with Geetanshu, and it really helped us make the right choice. The school is very clear about guiding both students and parents.
