Guiding students toward informed career choices at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri

Recently, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, organised an insightful career counselling session titled The Path Ahead, for students of Classes IX to XII. The event aimed to help students make informed career choices and explore diverse opportunities across various professional domains. 

The session was graced by eminent educationists and career experts Dr Nagender Singh and Dr Anju from TIT Bhiwani, who were warmly welcomed by the school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha. The auditorium buzzed with enthusiasm as students gathered to gain practical insights into career planning, skill development, and higher education pathways.

In his address, Dr Singh highlighted the importance of self-awareness in career decision-making. He urged students to evaluate their interests, aptitudes, and strengths before choosing a profession. He also discussed emerging trends across Science, Commerce, and Humanities, encouraging learners to align their academic pursuits with personal goals and aspirations.

Dr Anju, through an engaging and interactive session, emphasised the relevance of 21st-century skills like critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration. She introduced students to new-age careers in technology, design, and entrepreneurship, using real-life examples and case studies to help them understand the evolving dynamics of the global workforce.

Principal, Dr. Vineet Vasishtha commended the guest speakers for their valuable insights and applauded the students for their active participation. He reiterated that such sessions play a pivotal role in guiding young minds toward meaningful futures.

The insightful guidance shared by Dr Singh and Dr Anju provided our students with a clearer vision of their future possibilities. Sessions like these help students explore their interests, understand emerging career trends, and develop the confidence to make informed decisions. The event concluded with an active question-and-answer session, where students clarified their queries about college admissions, career options, and competitive exams.
