When it comes to choosing a school for their little one, every parent hopes for a nurturing and secure environment that allows their child to flourish. For the parents of Sia Anant, a pre-primary student at Apeejay School, Greater Noida, the decision was guided by trust, familiarity, and the school’s strong reputation. In a heartfelt conversation, they shared how their daughter’s journey – though just a few months in – has already been filled with joyful milestones, healthy habits, and meaningful teacher-student connections.
Read edited excerpts:
How has Sia’s experience been since joining Apeejay School, Greater Noida?
It’s just been about 1-1.5 months since she started, but we’ve already noticed positive changes. She’s more interactive and communicative than before. She’s an average kid, not too shy, and not overly talkative, but she’s becoming more outgoing.
Have you noticed any changes in her habits, especially regarding food?
Yes, her food habits are fine. While her sugar intake has increased, we don’t think it’s because of the school. One good habit she has picked up from school is the fruit break. She now asks for strawberries and watermelon, which is great.
How is Sia’s relationship with her teachers?
She is very friendly with her class teacher and has built a strong bond with her. They understand each other well. Sia loves going to school and comes home excited to tell us about her day.
Can you share any memorable moments or achievements?
Recently, there was a sports day at school. Sia won first prize in a racing event and got second prize in another sport. It was a proud moment for us.

How was Sia’s first day at school?
Her first day was smooth. She went to school comfortably and came back happy. She never complained about not wanting to go to school the next day, which was reassuring.
How has the interaction with the school been for you as parents?
The interaction with the school has been good. The teachers keep us informed about everything, including any shortfalls, which helps us stay connected with Sia’s progress.
How do you feel about the school environment?
The environment of the school is positive. The most important thing is that Sia is happy and feels secure. She spends a lot of time at school and seems to enjoy it. Her positive behavior reassures us that she’s happy and well taken care of.
