Selecting the right school for their children is a significant challenge for parents. They often compile a checklist and search for a school that aligns with their requirements. Among the top priorities for most parents are the school’s reputation and the calibre of the teachers.

“All my three children, including Anusha, in class XII, study at Apeejay School, Noida. Also, my husband has been living in Noida for a long time, and we’ve known about Apeejay School and its reputation for years. It’s very old school and comes with a legacy that dates back decades. Initially, my elder daughter joined, and I was impressed with the teaching process. Later, I transferred my younger children from another school to Apeejay School because of the positive experience we had,” shares Trishna Bansal.

In a candid interview, the mother shares the high point of this school.

How has your experience been with the school over the years?

Besides Anusha, my other two kids, Kriti (Class VIII) and Ranjit (Class VII), are doing great here. The school is good, no doubt. The teachers are cooperative and always responsive and cooperative. The teaching methodology is good as well.

Do your kids participate in extracurricular activities?

Yes, they do. Anusha participates in almost all activities, including Olympiads and other events. My son is more into sports, particularly football. He’s been playing football since early morning these days. These activities have significantly contributed to their personality development. They’ve improved their decision-making, confidence, and ability to handle situations. I’ve noticed how these activities have shaped them into more well-rounded individuals.

What stream has Anusha taken, and what are her plans?

She has taken Commerce with Math. At present, her priority is to prepare for the CUET exams. She’s still deciding on her future path.

What kind of feedback do you receive during parent-teacher meetings?

As I mentioned earlier, the teachers are very cooperative. I’ve never had any issues with them. They’re always responsive, even outside school hours. While I haven’t had personal meetings with the Principal, the staff is generally good.

How important do you think parent involvement is in a child’s education?

Extremely important. A child’s first schooling starts at home. Teachers can only do so much in eight hours at school; the rest depends on parents. We need to ensure continuity and reinforcement at home.

What role has the school played in shaping your children?

Anusha, for instance, has become an independent individual who can handle situations confidently. The school has contributed significantly to shaping her personality alongside our efforts as parents. I am confident that as she steps out and starts her professional journey, she will manage things on her own since she has been given the tools to deal with all kinds of situations at this school.

If you had to pick one good aspect of Apeejay School, Noida, what would it be?

It would be the excellent teachers that this school has. Their cordial and cooperative nature is a bonus.
