As part of the ongoing School Support and Wellness Program, the Interact Club of Apeejay School, Saket, organised a highly informative and interactive session on Anti-Bullying and When to Seek Help, aimed at empowering students to recognise, respond to, and prevent incidents of bullying within and beyond the school campus.
The session was facilitated by a renowned Psychologist from Rainbow Hospital, who brought deep expertise and practical knowledge on child and adolescent behaviour. Speaking to students, the expert highlighted the different forms of bullying: Physical, verbal, emotional, and cyberbullying and why each has a significant impact on a young person’s mental and emotional wellbeing. The Psychologist explained how even small, repeated hurtful actions can escalate into serious concerns if left unaddressed.
Students were guided on the right steps to take if they or someone around them experiences bullying. Emphasis was laid on the importance of seeking help early from teachers, parents, school counsellors, or trusted adults rather than remaining silent. The resource person also shared real-life examples and coping strategies to help students identify warning signs, support peers in distress, and stand up against harmful behaviour.

The session saw enthusiastic participation, with students sharing personal thoughts, engaging in reflective activities, and asking meaningful questions. This open dialogue helped them better understand the power of empathy, kindness, and responsible communication.
The school leadership appreciated the initiative, reiterating the need to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where every learner feels valued and protected. “It’s the EQ and SQ that we always want our students to be string in. Small efforts like these go a long way. Kudos team,” Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, Principal, Apeejay School, Saket, shared.

Apeejay School, Saket remains committed to nurturing emotionally strong and socially responsible individuals. Through such awareness programmes, the school continues to equip its students with the confidence to speak up, support others, and collectively take a stand against bullying.
