Summer Special: Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park hosts ‘Revitalise’ camp to teach students life skills

Summer is about recreating, rejuvenating, rejoicing, and most importantly, re-skilling. It is that time of the year when students hit refresh and get further prepared for the upcoming scholastic challenges.

To infuse students with new energy and pump up their spirits, Apeejay School Panchsheel Park recently organised a summer camp called ‘Revitalise’.

In this, students took part in various skill-based activities such as judo, self-defence, dance, art and craft, drama, to name a few. Significantly, at the camp, students learnt life skills as they were required to work in teams, as well as coordinate and help their classmates.

Ankita Sobti, intern chef at The Leela Palace, Hotels and Resorts, Chanakyapuri, and mother of a class 4 student, Shrawaya says, “My daughter had a delightful experience. The activities at the summer camp helped her become more vocal and expressive.”

Parents were happy to witness the mesmerising performances of their children. They applauded the commendable work of the school’s teachers and thanked them for providing such a lively, safe and diverse learning environment to their children.

At the close of the summer camp, each child was awarded with a certificate of participation.

“Revitalise Summer Camp not only gave children the much needed break from the screen, but was also a unique opportunity to productively utilise their summer vacations. It enhanced their creativity, interpersonal, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary skills. All the sessions were conducted by experts and were thoroughly enjoyed by the participants.”
