Student Achiever: ‘Winning the Gold is a testimony to our spark’

The Hindi language holds the powerful knack of connecting millions across diverse regions, fostering unity and national identity, opined Aranya Sinha and Anvi Gupta of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park from classes VIII and X respectively. Both students bagged a Gold medal each at the recently held Hindi Olympiad. In a candid interview, these two masterminds share their journey on how they owned that gold medal.

Speaking about the experience, Anvi shared, “It was overall a nice experience which provided me exposure to Hindi. The teachers at school supported us a lot from the registration to the results. They also provided us with the syllabus and helped us understand the concepts.”

Meanwhile, Aranya said, “It was a great experience. Hindi is a good language to learn. My Hindi teacher is extremely supportive. She groomed and nurtured me to know more about this language and get my path towards expertise in this.”

So how did they tackle the challenges that came their way? “The vast syllabus was challenging to cover. The paper itself had negative markings which made it more difficult. It was difficult to cover the given syllabus in the allocated time, but as well know – fortune favours the brave – we did sail through it,” both shared in unison.

While Anvi has set her heart to continue to grow, develop, and make meaningful progress in her life and career by working hard and never striving for success, Aranya plans to become a good writer.

Till then both are basking under the melody of the miraculous Hindi language.
