He is a wizard with a brilliant brainpower. Meet Aabhas Sahu who is studying in class X at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. In a candid interview Aabhas shares tips about he cracked the Apeejay Talent Search Examination (ATSE).

How do you feel after receiving the ATSE scholarship?
Receiving the ATSE scholarship feels incredible. I’m honoured and grateful for this recognition, and it’s motivating me to keep aiming high in my studies and personal goals.
What are your plans ahead for XI and XII?
For classes XI and XII, I plan to focus on mastering my chosen subjects, strengthening my skills, and preparing for competitive exams that align with my career goals.
How did you prepare for the exam?
My preparation was consistent, focusing on mastering the fundamentals and practicing regularly. I set a timetable, prioritised key topics, and solved practice problems to become more confident and improve my speed and accuracy.
What was the most challenging part of the ATSE exam?
The most challenging part of the ATSE exam was managing time effectively while tackling tricky questions. Some sections required quick thinking and accuracy, so balancing speed with careful reading was crucial. Additionally, certain questions were conceptually challenging, which tested my understanding beyond the basics and required a strong grasp of the fundamentals.
Which is your favorite subject and why?
Mathematics is my favourite subject because it challenges my critical thinking and lets me explore new ideas. I find it exciting to understand complex concepts and apply them to real-world problems, which makes learning very fulfilling.
How did Apeejay support you for the exam?
Apeejay provided excellent support by organising regular classes, offering helpful study materials, and creating a positive learning environment. The teachers were always there to clear doubts and motivate us, which was a huge help in my preparation.
What’s your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become an engineer as I want to contribute meaningfully to society. I hope to achieve this by gaining deep knowledge in my field and continuously improving my skills to make a difference.
