Student Achiever: ‘Discipline and sincerity are the underpinnings of my achievements’

He is setting an ideal example for posterity by cultivating hard work and honesty in his academics. Meet Vihaan Goyal of Class IV at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. In a candid interview, he fondly recalls how his teachers taught him by using real-time examples for better understanding.

How did you feel after receiving the scholar badge?
Receiving the scholar badge filled me with immense confidence and happiness. It was a moment of pride that reflected my hard work and dedication, motivating me to continue striving for excellence and achieve greater milestones in the future.

Share your revision strategy.
During exams, I studied for three to four hours every day, focusing on consistency and understanding. For Mathematics, I emphasised written practice to strengthen my concepts and problem-solving skills. This disciplined approach helped me revise effectively and perform well in my exams.

Which is your favourite subject?
My favourite subject is Social Science because I enjoy gaining knowledge about different states, their capitals, and rivers. Learning about Geography, culture, and History fascinates me and makes the subject both engaging and enriching.

What’s your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a doctor and dedicate my life to serving others. I aspire to provide care, save lives, and make a meaningful difference in people’s well-being through compassion, hard work, and medical expertise.

How did the teachers support you?
The teachers at my school have been incredibly supportive. Whenever I face any problem, they explain it clearly and thoroughly, ensuring I understand. They often use helpful examples to make concepts easier, which has greatly enhanced my learning experience.
