Staff Selection Commission concludes selection process

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently concluded the Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the Central Police Organization (CPO), Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
The SSC CPO SI Delhi Police & CAPF 2024 recruitment process consists of three stages. The preliminary exam, held from June 27 to June 29, 2024, was the first step, with a total of 4,187 vacancies for SI positions in the Delhi Police and CAPF. Candidates who qualified in the preliminary exam were eligible for the PST/PET, and their results can be accessed on the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in).

The PST/PET, conducted from October 15 to October 24, 2024, was organised across multiple regions in designated army camp areas. The process included candidate verification, biometric checks, and physical measurements. The minimum height requirement was set at 170 cm for male candidates and 157 cm for female candidates, with a minimum age requirement of 20 years for all applicants.
The PST/PET events were as follows:
Candidates had up to three attempts to meet the criteria for Long Jump, High Jump, and Shot Put.
Vacancy Breakdown by Category and Gender
The results for the PST/PET examination will be announced soon on the official SSC website. Candidates who clear the PST/PET will proceed to the final stage: the Main Written Examination. The date for the Main Examination will be announced shortly after the PST/PET results are declared.
