The Health and Wellness Club organised a special assembly to observe World Health Day at Apeejay School, Rama Mandi. The event brought together students and staff to reflect on the importance of health in everyday life. It was held in the presence of the school Principal Mr AK Sharma and Vice-principal Ms Loveleen Bagga.
This year’s theme, Together for Health, Stand with Science, guided the assembly. It stressed the importance of scientific collaboration and evidence-based decisions in safeguarding the health of people, animals, and the environment. The message placed health within a larger, shared responsibility.
The assembly began with a prayer, creating a calm and focused atmosphere. This was followed by a thoughtful segment that encouraged students to reflect on the value of health. The sequence helped set the tone for the rest of the programme.
Students presented a short dramatisation titled The Human Plate. The act focused on balanced nutrition and showed how unhealthy habits affect the body over time. It helped simplify an important idea through everyday examples that students could relate to.

The programme then moved to a health and wellness pledge. Students and staff committed to adopting healthy routines, including proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and mindfulness. The pledge reinforced the idea that health requires consistent effort.
The Principal then addressed the gathering and spoke about health as both a right and a responsibility. He encouraged students to remain aware of their daily habits and to make choices that support long-term wellbeing.
The assembly concluded with a reminder for students to actively monitor their wellness journey. The initiative reflects a broader effort to build awareness and responsibility around health, both within the school and beyond.
