The school supports primary students by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and learning through play. “While we were looking for a school that focuses on academics and overall development, including emotional well-being. We had heard a lot about Apeejay School, Noida, and met a few alumni as well. The school felt like the right balance, structured yet nurturing. It didn’t feel overwhelming, and that really mattered to us at this stage. We loved the campus and extracurricular activities that the school offered,” shares Renaissa Ghosh Papnai, whose daughter, Celestia, studies in KG here.
Read on to know how teachers use interactive methods like storytelling, arts, music, and hands-on activities to develop language, cognitive, and social skills.
How are the teachers supporting primary kids?
Teachers have been incredibly patient and caring. They understand that every child is different and take the time to make them feel comfortable. What I really appreciate is how gently they guide the kids; there’s no pressure, just encouragement.
What has your child learnt so far?
Academically, she’s very clear on her concepts, which is great to see, as nursery is the stepping stone. But more than that, she’s grown so much as a person. She understands sharing, friendship, and how to express herself better. That confidence has been a big change for us.
Which extracurricular activities does she enjoy?
She enjoys most of the activities because everything is introduced in a very fun and engaging way. Whether it’s art, music, or play-based learning, she genuinely looks forward to participating. The best part is that the monthly calendar is shared in advance, which helps us prep our child.
How are the safety protocols here?
We feel quite reassured on the safety front. The systems in place, along with the attentiveness of the staff, make it feel like a secure environment for young children. Once, we had gone to pick up our child, but the guards didn’t allow us to take her out of the school until we had the Principal’s permission, which shows the strictness and seriousness of the school.
What are the strengths of this school?
For me, the biggest strength is the environment. It’s warm, positive, and child-friendly. The fact that she now loves going to school says everything. Earlier, in preschool, she would cry and resist going, and now she looks forward to it every day. That shift has been the most meaningful outcome for us.
