Recently, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, hosted an engaging and thought-provoking talk on the theme Saving the Tiger, reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering environmental awareness and responsible citizenship among students. The event was primarily conducted by the enthusiastic students of Class VII, who displayed remarkable confidence, creativity, and a deep sense of concern for wildlife conservation. The programme was meticulously coordinated under the guidance of Mrs Poonam Sharma, whose dedicated efforts ensured its seamless and impactful execution.

The talk show aimed to shed light on the alarming decline in the tiger population and underscore the urgent need for effective conservation measures. Through a well-structured and interactive discussion format, students presented insightful facts, ideas, and opinions. They eloquently addressed critical issues such as habitat destruction, poaching, and the importance of preserving ecological balance, demonstrating clarity of thought and strong communication skills.

To enhance the effectiveness of their presentations, students incorporated a range of visual aids, including informative PowerPoint presentations, creatively designed posters, and vibrant banners. These elements not only enriched the overall experience but also conveyed compelling messages about wildlife conservation. Supported by relevant data and statistics, the visuals helped the audience grasp the gravity of the issue and reinforced the importance of collective action in protecting endangered species.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of other classes as well, who contributed through short speeches and thoughtful reflections on environmental conservation. Their involvement added diversity and depth to the event, making it a collaborative and enriching learning experience for all.

The event concluded on an inspiring note with the gracious presence of the school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha. He lauded the students for their awareness, confidence, and presentation skills, and encouraged them to continue engaging in meaningful initiatives that promote environmental stewardship. His motivating words left a lasting impression on the young minds.

“I am extremely proud of the students of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, for organising such an insightful talk show on saving the tiger.
