Achieving academic success is often the result of consistent effort, proper planning, and effective guidance. Three students from Class VI-C at Apeejay School, Noida, have shown impressive results and disciplined study strategies for the academic year 2024-25. Meet Prashi (94.6%), Prishi Kansal (93.8%), and Kashvi Sinha (93.6%).

In a candid interview, they share their study strategy, among other things.

Prashi, who didn’t always ask questions in class due to social anxiety, made sure to clarify her doubts with my parents at home. “Now, I have started asking questions in class too. I used to study regularly for about two hours a day, six days a week. My strategy was to complete school assignments on time and revise the topics regularly. My teachers were supportive and explained the topics well, which helped me grasp difficult concepts,” she shared.

Prishi started her Class VI journey with a goal. “I want to become the best and aim for full marks in all subjects. Although I didn’t achieve a perfect score, I am proud of my result. I studied for around three to four hours a day. However, I found both Hindi and Math to be the most challenging subjects; nevertheless, I eventually scored the highest in Hindi! I made it a point to clear all my doubts, which helped me a lot. In addition to my studies, I also enjoy playing badminton in my community. I attend karate classes on alternate days and love reading books — novels, comics, and mysteries are my favourites. My daily routine includes school, homework, studying, and playing — a balance that keeps me motivated,” she said.

Kashvi, on the other hand, created a to-do list when the exams were announced and stuck to it, which helped her stay focused. ” I studied for three to four hours daily and made notes to revise effectively. Math was a bit challenging, but with the help of my school teachers, I was able to overcome my difficulties. I believe that regular studying is crucial because if we leave everything for the last minute, we tend to forget what we’ve learnt. Studying consistently helped me stay prepared and reduced my exam stress significantly,” she said.
