NTA launches new platform for NEET-UG 2025 aspirants to report suspicious activities

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a new online platform to help NEET-UG 2025 candidates report suspicious activities related to the examination. This initiative aims to prevent cheating and ensure a fair testing process, especially in light of the controversies surrounding last year’s exam.
Why this platform was launched:
In 2024, NEET-UG faced significant challenges, including allegations of a paper leak and other irregularities. Investigations revealed that some individuals had unauthorised access to exam materials, leading to arrests in states like Bihar and Gujarat. The Supreme Court acknowledged that at least 155 students benefited from leaked papers, though it ruled out a widespread breach and denied the need for a re-examination.
To address these issues and restore trust in the examination process, the NTA has launched this reporting platform as a proactive measure.
What Can Be Reported?
Candidates can use the platform to report:
Unauthorised websites or social media accounts claiming to have access to NEET question papers
Individuals asserting they can provide exam content
People impersonating NTA or government officials.
The reporting form is straightforward, allowing users to describe the suspicious activity, specify when and where it occurred, and upload any supporting documents or evidence.
How to Access the Platform
The reporting portal is available on the official NTA websites: nta.ac.in and neet.nta.ac.in. Candidates are encouraged to report any dubious activities promptly to help maintain the integrity of the examination.
Legal Framework
This initiative aligns with the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, which aims to eliminate dishonest practices in public examinations and protect the future of aspiring students.
Upcoming Exam Date
The NEET-UG 2025 examination is scheduled for May 4. Candidates are advised to stay vigilant and use the reporting platform to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
By taking these steps, the NTA aims to uphold the credibility of the NEET-UG examination and provide a level playing field for all candidates.
