NEET PG 2025 exam city resubmission window now open

Candidates preparing for NEET PG 2025 can now update their exam city preferences online. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reopened the city resubmission window which will remain available until 11:55 PM on June 17, 2025

Why is this resubmission required?

Following a Supreme Court directive, NBEMS has decided to hold the NEET PG 2025 exam in a single morning shift nationwide on August 3, 2025. To balance the load and accommodate all candidates fairly, the exam city list has been expanded to 233 cities. This expansion requires applicants to re-enter their city preferences. Seat assignment will operate on a first‑come, first‑serve basis, with candidates only able to see available cities during the selection process.

Key dates to remember

– The exam city resubmission window is open till June 17, 2025 (11:55 PM)

– The edit window for corrections will be available from June 20 to June 22, 2025

– Candidates will be informed of their allotted exam city on July 21, 2025

– Admit cards will be issued on July 31, 2025

– The NEET PG 2025 exam will be held on August 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM in a single shift

– The results will be declared by September 3, 2025

Step-by-Step: How to resubmit your exam city

– Visit the official NBEMS website: natboard.edu.in

– On the homepage, find and click the “NEET PG 2025 Exam City Resubmission” link.

– Log in using your application credentials.

– Navigate to the “Choose Test City” tab.

– Click “Click here to choose test city”.

– Read the instructions, then select your State, followed by your desired Test City. Note: only cities with available seats will appear

– Review the details carefully – this choice cannot be changed once submitted .

– Submit your preferences and click OK to confirm. A confirmation message will appear – save or print this for reference.

Important Points to Note

–  City allocation is strictly first come, first served – early submission improves your chances

– Applicants only see test cities with available seats at the time of selection

– Final venue details within the chosen city will be printed on the admit card.

– NBEMS does not provide travel or lodging arrangements – you must make your own arrangements
