NBEM to release NEET PG 2024 answer key soon

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The exam saw participation from 2,28,540 candidates across 170 cities, with testing conducted in two shifts at 416 centres nationwide.

The NBEMS is expected to release the provisional answer key for the exam soon. Candidates who appeared for NEET PG will be able to access the answer key on the official NBEMS website. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections against any answers they believe to be incorrect. These challenges will be reviewed, and the final answer key will be prepared accordingly.

For result preparation, NBEMS is using a process similar to that of AIIMS-New Delhi, which is employed for various multi-shift exams, including the INI-CET.

Regarding examination protocols, NEET PG includes a 25% negative marking scheme for incorrect answers, with no penalties for unattempted questions. Candidates could mark questions for review during the exam, allowing them to revisit these questions before submitting their responses. All responses, including those marked for review, will be evaluated according to the standard marking scheme.
