Life cannot be spent being alone; everyone needs a friend with whom they can share thoughts and talk. Friendship is not just a bond, but a special thread that ties two individuals. It is not always important that we need to talk every day with our friends to have a spirit alive in friendship, both 1-hour talks and a single ‘hi’ message are worth cherishing.
Friendship decorates the canvas of life with rhinestones; it is the rhythm of dance and the English of academics.
I feel blessed to have not friends rather best friends in my life. First and foremost, my parents. I can share everything with them, they value my opinions, and they are more like friends to me, with whom I can celebrate every moment of glee. They are the ones who actually aspire and help me grow out of adversities and want me to develop into the best version of myself; they truly are my best friends.
Have you ever wondered that we all have one friend in common- that is God, he who knows everything about us, from our mistakes to our good deeds, he knows what we want and what is good for us. He always makes decisions that are the best for us. So, there is no doubt that God is everyone’s best friend.
Then comes Gunjan, Palak, and Paridhi, some good friends of mine. Gunjan and Paridhi neither study in the same school as me nor do they live in my neighbourhood; we do not talk every day, but whenever we talk, we have the same excitement to hear from each other. While I meet Palak every day but there is still that freshness in our friendship that we had eight years ago.
True friendship is a boon to those who receive it. Finding good friends is a difficult task, and it is a quality we gain by experience. So, remember not everyone around you can be your friend, there are only a few in a hundred who want your true success. So, this friendship day, I want to thank them for being a part of my life, making me learn more, and encouraging me to aspire and soar high.
