Mahak is a class 2 student at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. She joined the school back in the pandemic days and her academic journey started with online classes. However, ever since the offline classes began, she has been loving school all the more, as she gets to meet her teachers and has also made a huge bunch of friends in her class. In a quick interview, Mahak’s mother Mrs. Aneeta updates us about her daughter’s progress at school, likes and dislikes in subjects and interest in other activities. Read edited excerpts:
Let us ask the most important question first! Is Mahak enjoying school?
Yes! Mahak loves going to school. Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri has a unique way to engage the students and teach them with a different approach vis-a-vis the education method in other schools. My daughter discusses with me all the activities she does at class and I am so happy that she is growing and glowing.
Are the teachers engaging well?
Very nicely indeed! Mahak joined during the online class phase. Mrs Babita and Mrs Anita were her teachers back then. I observed that the teachers were doing a fine job with all the students. We both (parents) are also teachers, so we can tell when high quality education is being given to a child. We are both very happy with the school and teachers. The way they connect with the students is special.

Which subjects and activities does Mahak like the most?
My daughter loves Math the most among all her subjects. She enjoys all her school activities, but I have observed she has a greater inclination towards Art. She loves colouring and drawing and often practices it as she simply enjoys it a lot.
Did she have any problems adjusting in school after the online classes?
Not at all. On the contrary she has a big group of friends. Mahak loves the environment at school and is eager every morning to attend classes.
What is the best thing about the school?
I feel the best thing is that the school keeps the parents involved with the child’s development. We are updated about every detail of our child’s progress.
