Read how Ms Abha Sharma, mother of Manvvik, a Class II student of Apeejay School, Model Town, shares her heartfelt experience with the school. From nurturing teachers to engaging learning methods, she highlights how the school has shaped her child’s growth, confidence, and curiosity, making learning a joyful and meaningful journey.
How has your overall experience with the school been so far?
It has been truly wonderful. For me, the biggest indicator is my child’s happiness. If he is happy, enjoying school, and learning at the same time, that means everything is going right. Manvvik speaks very positively about his school, his teachers, and his experiences. I have also noticed significant positive changes in him since he joined. The school beautifully combines learning with fun through engaging activities.
Are the teachers supportive and responsive?
Yes, absolutely. I feel fortunate that my son has such caring and supportive teachers. From UKG to now, his teachers have been approachable and attentive. They not only guide children academically but also nurture them emotionally. My child often refers to his teacher as a ‘second mother’ and considers school his second home, which reflects the warmth and care he receives there.
What positive changes have you observed in your child?
He has become more expressive, curious, and confident. He is a quick learner, but also someone who likes to understand concepts deeply. For example, he already knew multiplication, but at school, he learned different methods like repeated addition, which he excitedly shared at home. He has also developed a more systematic approach to tasks, whether it’s organising his work, writing neatly, or following structured steps.

Is math his favourite subject?
Yes, he is very fond of numbers—their patterns, properties, and the results they create when explored through different multiplications.
How does the school contribute beyond academics?
The school plays a vital role in his overall development. It focuses not just on studies but also on emotional growth, teamwork, and discipline. Activities like quizzes, science exercises, and classroom routines have enhanced his general knowledge and thinking skills. The structured way of teaching has helped him understand how to present his work properly.
What are his interests, and how has the school supported them?
He enjoys art and has shown noticeable improvement. Earlier, his drawings were less structured, but now he colors neatly and experiments more. He was initially fond of drawing animals, and now he also draws cartoon characters. His creativity has definitely grown with the school’s encouragement.
As a working parent, how do you manage time?
I am a freelancer. Initially, it was challenging, but now Manvvik understands my schedule and supports me. We spend quality time together, especially at night, learning through fun activities like Math games. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Apeejay School, Model Town. It has provided my child with a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment.
