The school supports senior students by providing a structured and balanced environment that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth. “My daughter joined Apeejay School, Nerul, in 2014, in the nursery. Even at that time, this school had the reputation of being one of the best in Navi Mumbai. It was especially known for its academic excellence and experienced teachers, and is one of the oldest CBSE schools. These were some of the reasons why we chose this institute, shares Ramya Raveendran, whose daughter, Samhita, studies in Class X at Apeejay School, Nerul.

How are the teachers supporting Samhita?
The teachers have played a pivotal role in shaping Samhita. Almost all her class teachers have been like mother figures, guiding her and providing the emotional support necessary for a growing child. Since Samhita is quite active in sports, her sports teacher has accompanied her to events even outside Mumbai to provide the necessary support. Whenever she misses classes due to such events, her teachers take special efforts to help her cope with the missed syllabus.
How is the school promoting holistic development?
The school consists of experienced teachers who take care of the academic progress of the child. Besides, the extracurricular activities and inter-house competitions help the children to hone their different talents. The standard of the annual day has increased year on year, and the children get an excellent platform to perform in different activities. The annual sports day, which was reintroduced last year, provides students with a platform to excel in individual as well as team sports. All these help in building self-confidence and also promote teamwork and collaboration.
How is the parent-teacher interaction?
There is an open parent-teacher interaction. In case of queries, parents can connect with the concerned teacher. During PTM, teachers not only provide an assessment of the child’s academic progress but also other aspects of their development.
What are the core strength areas of this school?
The core strength of the school is its academic excellence. It truly is a second home for children because, as a parent, I feel my child is completely safe on the premises. Additionally, the different extracurricular and co-curricular activities held in the school help in the personality development of the students.
