The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for JEE Main Session 1 today, December 2, 2025, at 11:50 pm. The facility, which opened on December 1, allows registered candidates to make changes to specific fields in their already submitted application forms. After tonight’s deadline, no further opportunity is expected for Session 1 corrections.
According to NTA, the correction module is accessible only to those candidates who completed their registrations before the deadline. They can review and update multiple academic, demographic, and exam-related details to ensure their information is accurate ahead of the national entrance test. However, the agency has emphasised that certain personal details will remain locked to prevent discrepancies in identity verification and communication.

Changes may require additional fee payment depending on the nature of modifications.
Non-editable fields
Details that are permanently locked include mobile number, email address, emergency contact information, and the applicant’s photograph. These fields remain unchanged, as they form the base for authentication and verification.
How to access the correction facility
Candidates must log in to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password or date of birth. After making approved changes, they should save the updated form and download the revised confirmation page for future reference.
