The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 (Paper 1 for BE/BTech) today, April 19. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their results on the official NTA website. This year, 24 candidates achieved a perfect 100 NTA score, marking exceptional performance in one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance exams.
For the General (UR-ALL) category, candidates securing a percentile between 100 and 93.1023262 have qualified for JEE Advanced 2025. Approximately 97,321 candidates have secured the minimum qualifying percentile, making them eligible for the next selection phase in premier engineering institutes like the IITs.
The results have been computed based on the final answer key released on April 18. For candidates who appeared in both sessions of JEE Main 2025, the better of the two NTA scores has been considered to ensure fairness and accuracy in evaluation.
NTA scores are normalised scores that reflect the relative performance of candidates across multiple sessions. These scores are not raw marks or direct percentages but are calculated on a scale from 100 to 0. The scoring formula used is:
NTA Score = 100 x (Number of candidates with raw score equal to or less than the candidate) / (Total number of candidates in the session).
Candidates are advised to check the official website for their scores and further instructions regarding JEE Advanced registration and counselling processes.
